Illusions of space sees the coming together of three highly individual artists who, having identified unexpected connections between their work, have used this opportunity to stray into each other’s territory.

Fiona Robinson’s complex and delicate web-like drawings convey a lyrical sense of journeying. They trace links between the moment, the memory and the terrain.

George Meyrick’s sculpture and installations shift between and across two and three-dimensional space altering the viewers’ perception of solid form within the fabric of a building.

Pennie Elfick extracts figurative elements from the variability of everyday happenings, converting them into abstract imagery which, allied to exquisite shifts of colour, enables her to capture a feeling of something seen and experienced.
